On 30.08. and 31.08. a training session was held in the municipality of Rila on the topic of flood risk management. The theoretical part was held in the Neven restaurant in Rila, and the practical part the next day on the field. On that occasion, the Deputy Mayor of Knjaževac Branislav Josifović, project manager Miroljub Božinović and lecturers Jelisaveta Grupković and Miodrag Radenković visited the municipality of Rila. The lecturers took part in the education of the present participants, and in front of the municipality of Rila, another lecturer was hired to hold the training in the Bulgarian language.

A tour of the works on the Rila River was also carried out. The works have been completed and the embankment has been built so that now there is no danger of the Rila River overflowing in the city area and soil erosion.
