On 05.08.2022. In 2016, a training session was held on the topic of flood risk management in the municipality of Knjaževac. The training aroused great interest and was held in a crowded hall of the Social Club of the Cultural Center in Knjaževac. In front of the municipality of Knjaževac, the deputy mayor of the municipality, Branislav Josifović, and the president of the assembly, Marko Stojanović, were present. The training was attended by about 60 people from various institutions – representatives of the municipality of Knjaževac, DOO Erosija Knjaževac, JP Srbija Šume, JP Razvoj Knjaževac, JP Stara planina, Cultural center, Regional center, Voluntary fire brigade, sports clubs and others attended the training.

The meeting was opened by Miroljub Božinović, the project manager, and the lecturers were Jelisaveta Grupković and Miodrag Radenković. Attendees of this education will be awarded training attendance certificates.
