The Municipality of Knjaževac, as the leading partner in the project “Joint Measures for Green Infrastructure”, which is implemented in cooperation with the Municipality of Rila from Bulgaria, and which is implemented with the support of the European Union through the Cross-Border Cooperation Program Interreg – IPA Bulgaria – Serbia, organized an online conference. on which this project was presented.

The event was held through the Zoom platform, and the project was presented by the manager Miroljub Božinović. Branislav Josifović, Deputy Mayor of Knjaževac, as well as Georgi Davidkov Kabzimalski, President of the Municipality of Rila, also spoke.

Financially, one of the largest cross-border cooperation projects, this project is a joint initiative of the municipality of Knjaževac, which is the leading partner, and the municipality of Rila, in order to find a solution to common environmental problems. The value of this project is 587,177.58 euros. The municipality of Knjaževac participates with 264,866.33, and the municipality of Rila with 322,311.25 euros. The project will last for two years.
