Common measures for green infrastructure
In Rila at August 22, 2022. held the final press conference for the “Joint measures for green infrastructure” project.
The Mayor of Rila Georgi Kabzimalski, Deputy President of Knjaževac Branislav Josifović, and Miroljub Božinović from Knjaževac and Vjara Ilkova from Rila spoke at the press conference.
At the conference, the importance of the project for both municipalities was highlighted and once again it was highlighted what was done in the two municipalities from this project. The municipality of Rila received a coastal fortification in the center of the city, and the municipality of Knjaževac received 4 working machines and regulated watercourses in 9 rivers of the second order. Both municipalities planted tree saplings and greened significant areas.
The two municipalities cooperated on this project for the first time, and the representatives of the municipality expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation on the project and their desire to continue the cooperation in the future. In this sense, concrete opportunities for cooperation on new projects were also discussed.
